OrthoCarolina Adds Two Fellowship-Trained Surgeons to Hand Center Team

Back to News & Press Dr. R. Christopher Chadderdon and Dr. Daniel Lewis have joined the OrthoCarolina Hand Center located at 1915 Randolph Road.

“We expanded our Hand Center team to better serve our patients in the Charlotte community,” said Dr. Dan Murrey, chief executive officer of OrthoCarolina. “Dr. Chadderdon and Dr. Lewis join a group of accomplished hand surgeons and active researchers who continually work to provide our patients excellent orthopedic care.”

Dr. Chadderdon completed his hand surgery fellowship at the Philadelphia Hand Center. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine, and his medical degree from Dartmouth Medical School in Hanover, N.H. Dr. Chadderdon completed his residency at Virginia Commonwealth University Health System. He will see patients at the Hand Center located at 1915 Randolph Rd. as well as at the University area office.

Dr. Lewis completed his hand and upper extremity fellowship at The Indiana Hand Center in Indianapolis. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Youngstown State University in Youngstown, Ohio, and his medical degree from Medical College of Ohio in Toledo. Dr. Lewis completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Michigan State University / Kalamazoo Center for Medical Studies. He will see patients at the Hand Center located at 1915 Randolph Rd. as well as at the Pineville office.

The OrthoCarolina Hand Center is home to 10 orthopedic surgeons who evaluate and treat various hand problems including carpal tunnel syndrome, wrist and hand fractures, arthritis of the hand and wrist, poor circulation of the hand or fingers, trauma to the hand, work-related injuries, sports-related injuries, and hand and arm pain.
