OrthoCarolina Orthopedic Urgent Care Brochure
When time is of the essence, OrthoCarolina offers urgent care for every member of the family. Our Orthopedic Urgent Care (OUC) is open seven days a week, and our orthopedic surgeons are on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week, all year long. OrthoCarolina also accepts virtually all major insurance plans.
Hours of Operation:
- Monday – Friday: 5:30 p.m. until 9 p.m.
- Saturday: 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
- Sunday: 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
OUC physicians treat acute conditions for all age groups, including:
- Injuries that do not require stitches
- Closed fractures
- Minor dislocations
- Cast or wound dressing problems
- Painful, swollen or injured joints such as the knees, elbows and shoulders
- Sudden neck pain
- Sudden back pain
- Carpal tunnel pain
- Tennis elbow and other sports injuries
- Strains and sprains
Orthopedic Urgent Care is staffed by:
- Board-certified orthopedic surgeons
- All physicians of our Specialty Centers, who are on call if special on-site care or hospital care is required
- Licensed orthopedic physician assistants under the supervision of orthopedic surgeons
Location:
Orthopedic Urgent Care is conveniently located on the ground floor of our Randolph Road/Charlotte office at 1915 Randolph Road. A circular drive with a covered walkway at the building's main entrance provides convenient access to our facility. Patients can be dropped off at the entrance. Anyone accompanying the patient can park in the parking deck located just to the right of the building. Comfortable seating is available for the patient just inside the building entrance while you park.
Emergencies:
In addition to OUC, we have physicians on call 24 hours a day to treat those emergencies that require a visit to the hospital emergency room.
