Dr. VanDerNoord is a board-certified physiatrist and a member of the physician staff at the OrthoCarolina Spine Center. He specializes in the non-operative management of spinal disorders including the use of diagnostic and therapeutic selective spinal injections and electrodiagnostics.
Dr. VanDerNoord earned his undergraduate degree from North Georgia Military College and his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia. After completing his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the University of Louisville as chief resident, he was awarded a fellowship in non-surgical interventional spine, musculoskeletal and pain management at Georgia Spine and Sports Physicians.
Dr. VanDerNoord is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation; the Physiatric Association of Spine, Sports, and Occupational Rehabilitation; the North American Spine Society; the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians and the International Spinal Injection Society.
