    Dr. Alexander is a physiatrist at OrthoCarolina and specializes in non-operative spinal disorders and electrodiagnosis.

    He earned his Bachelor of Arts in chemistry and his Bachelor of Science in biochemistry at North Carolina State University in Raleigh and his medical degree from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine in Chapel Hill. He completed his internship in internal medicine and his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the Charlotte Institute of Rehabilitation in Charlotte. He then completed a fellowship in interventional physiatry, spine and pain medicine at Orthopaedic Specialists of the Carolinas.

    Dr. Alexander is an active member of the Association of Academic Physiatrists; the American Academy of Pain Medicine; the Physiatric Association of Spine, Sports & Occupational Rehabilitation; the American Association of Electrodiagnostic Medicine; and the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
