OrthoCarolina Spine Center Brochure (PDF File)

At OrthoCarolina’s Spine Center, our fellowship-trained physicians specialize – and excel – in one area. Nationally recognized for spinal care, we lead the field in research and in the number of procedures performed, including minimally invasive surgery (MIS).

Our physician staff, comprised of seven dedicated spine surgeons and four physiatrists, is committed to providing the highest level of care to patients suffering from pain, numbness or weakness anywhere from the neck to the lower back. Many of the procedures performed are outpatient procedures, or allow the patient to go home the following morning. Our spectrum of care ranges from nonsurgical management of spinal disorders to the most complex reconstructive procedures for patients with debilitating conditions of the spine.

OC spine physicians are recognized leaders in the treatment of complex deformities, tumors, infections, degenerative conditions, nerve impingement and paralysis. We are actively involved in research, including the development of spine implants and bone substitutes and we are instrumental in teaching these latest techniques to other physicians.

OrthoCarolina’s Spine Center facility also houses a Physical Therapy Center, fully equipped with exercise room and warm therapeutic pool, and staffed by a team of licensed therapists specializing in the care of spine disorders.
